About Me!

This page is intended to help Women and Families deal with and learn more about how to deal with life after an abortion.  Regardless of whether abortions are morally right or wrong, we must acknowledge the fact that women do have them and that dealing with the loss of a child either through abortion, miscarriage, or stillbirth can have various negative emotional implications on a woman.

Pregnancy is a tough experience for any woman to deal with.  When it’s planned, it is a wonderful and a highly anticipated experience, but when it is unintended, it can lead to a great deal of problems.  Many women make the difficult choice to terminate their pregnancies and many of these reasons can cause the appearance of many psychological problems.  These problems are collectively known as Post-Abortion Syndrome or PAS, and have been shown to occur in the father of the baby, along with the parents and relatives of the post-aborted woman.  This condition has also been called, Post-Abortion Stress Syndrome or Post-Traumatic Abortion Syndrome.
